FDA removed 12 peptides from its Category 2 “significant safety risks” compounding list after the nominations were withdrawn. Removal alone did not make them legal to compound.

FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee narrowly voted to recommend 6 peptides (BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, MOTS-c, Epitalon, Semax) for the 503A bulks list, against FDA staff's recommendation. It voted against DSIP.
- OCT 28 2026
HHS announced an enforcement-discretion policy letting licensed 503A pharmacies compound those 6 for individual patients, under conditions, while formal rulemaking continues.
